• Provide core features like club management, stand check-ins, and safety tracking
• Monitor user activity for safety alerts and emergency response
• Manage subscriptions and billing through Apple StoreKit
• Improve and personalize your experience

3. Communications and Notifications

Types of communications we may send (with your consent):

• Safety Alerts: Emergency notifications and overdue check-in alerts
• System Notifications: Account updates, security alerts, and service announcements
• Club Communications: Club-related updates and event notifications
• Marketing Communications: Promotional or optional communications, if any, are delivered via email or in-app notifications only. Hunt-Sync does not send marketing messages via SMS.

4. SMS & Mobile Data Privacy

Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent data, will not be sold, rented, or disclosed to any third party for any purpose other than what is strictly necessary to deliver the Hunt-Sync service — such as routing safety alerts through our SMS provider — or as required by law.

All SMS communications are strictly limited to safety alerts, account notifications, and critical service updates. Hunt-Sync does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

5. Location Data

We use your device's GPS location only while you are checked in to a hunting stand. Location data is stored securely and used for:

• Tracking safety check-ins and check-outs
• Generating stand usage logs
• Notifying emergency contacts in the event of an alert

We do not use your location for advertising purposes.

6. Emergency Contacts

You may optionally provide emergency contact details. This information is only used if:

• A safety check fails to confirm your wellbeing
• An emergency alert is triggered

Emergency contact data is not shared, sold, or used for marketing purposes and is used only within the scope of the app's safety features.

7. Subscription and Payment Data

All subscription payments are processed via Apple StoreKit. We do not store your credit card or Apple ID payment information. We store your subscription tier and status for access management purposes.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

9. Your Rights

Hunt-Sync is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will delete their data immediately.
