Question 1

How do I join a club?

Accepted Answer

Your club admin shares an invite code with you. Enter it during registration or afterward when prompted. You can be a member of multiple clubs and switch between them at any time.

Question 2

How do I switch between clubs?

Accepted Answer

If you belong to multiple clubs, tap the club name in the Club tab header to open the club switcher. Select a club to make it active — all data across the app updates immediately.

Question 3

How do stands and properties work?

Accepted Answer

Properties are hunting lands managed by your club. Each property can have multiple stands — tree stands, blinds, food plots, and more. Stands are grouped by property and shown as pins on the map. Only admins can add, edit, or remove stands and properties.

Question 4

How do I check in to a stand?

Accepted Answer

In the Hunt-Sync app, go to the Stands section, find your stand under its property, and tap the check-in button to record your session. This starts location logging and safety monitoring (requires Core Safety tier or higher).

Question 5

How do I check out of a stand?

Accepted Answer

Open the Stands section while you are checked in and tap the check-out button to end your session and stop safety monitoring.

Question 6

What are safety check-ins?

Accepted Answer

Safety check-ins are periodic reminders sent while you are checked into a stand. Confirm you are safe when prompted. Missing a check-in marks your status as overdue and alerts other club members. Safety check-ins require a Core Safety subscription or higher.

Question 7

How do emergency alerts work?

Accepted Answer

Select an alert type (medical, injury, lost, weather, etc.) and severity level. Emergency contacts who have Family & Friends Dashboard access will see your status and location in real time. Alerts are also visible to your club.

Question 8

What are emergency contacts?

Accepted Answer

Emergency contacts are family members or friends you designate to be notified in an emergency. You can grant them Family & Friends Dashboard access so they can monitor your check-in status, location, and safety history in real time — no Hunt-Sync account required on their end. This feature requires a Core Safety subscription or higher.

Question 9

How do club events work?

Accepted Answer

Admins and owners can create events from the Club tab. Members can view events and RSVP as Attending, Not Attending, or Maybe. Upcoming events also appear on the home dashboard. Event reminders require a Pro Tools subscription or higher.

Question 10

How does a subscription work for my club?

Accepted Answer

Subscriptions are purchased by an individual member, but the benefits apply to everyone in that club. If any member of your club has an active paid subscription, all club members automatically receive that tier's features and limits — nobody else needs to pay separately. The club always benefits from the highest active tier held by any of its members.

Question 11

What does each subscription tier include?

Accepted Answer

Free gives you basic access with limited members, stands, and properties. Core Safety ($7.99/mo) adds routine safety check-ins, emergency contacts, and the Family & Friends Dashboard. Pro Tools ($19.99/mo) increases member, stand, and property limits and adds event reminders and admin tools. Premium ($24.99/mo) unlocks the full feature set including usage reports, CSV export, and priority support.

Question 12

How are payments handled?

Accepted Answer

All web payments are processed securely through Stripe. Hunt-Sync never stores your payment information — only a Stripe customer ID and your receipt history are retained on our end. iOS subscriptions are managed through the App Store.

Question 13

Why am I not receiving notifications?

Accepted Answer

Check your device notification permissions for Hunt-Sync in your phone settings. You can also review your notification preferences inside the app under Profile > App Settings. Safety reminders are only sent while you are actively checked in to a stand and require a Core Safety subscription or higher.
